Absolutely! You can stop by anytime during our business hours. No need to call ahead or book an appointment. We'll be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have. In order to see everything, we ask that you don't come between 11a-1p due to naptime and half-day dogs coming and going.

What days are you closed during the year?

While we operate 365 days a year to provide consistent, quality care to our guests, we are closed to the public on certain holidays.   Closed holidays include, but not limited to: New Year's Day Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day

Can someone else pick up or drop off my pet for me?

Yes! We will just need the name and phone number of that person. Pets picked up by someone other than the owner we have on file must have their account paid in full prior to departing our facility. We accept payments over the phone, if needed.

Doggy daycare is a place to take your dogs to play for the day in a well-supervised, clean, safe and fun environment.

How old does my dog have to be to come to daycare?

We accept puppies of all ages! As long as they are on track with their vaccinations and neutered by 7 months, they can come play.

What are the benefits of doggy daycare?

Frequent participation in doggy daycare provides the opportunity to:   -Provide regular exervise to maintain a healthy weight -Improve their socialization with dogs and people -Relieve separation anxiety, boredom, and destructive behavior at home

What do the dogs do all day?

They play! They can enjoy our multiple climate-controlled play rooms, as well as our spacious outdoor area, while being supervised by our dog handlers. Overnight guests play all day with our daycare guests, just taking breaks for meals and rest as needed.

Can any dog come in for doggy daycare?

Since our dogs interact in an all-day play environment, it's important for them to get along with others. We require your pup to come in for a temperament test, which is essentially a trial day, to see how they interact with our group of dogs and staff memebers.   We require your pup to be: -Spayed or neutered (if seven months or older) -Current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines -On a Flea/tick regimen and in good overall health -Wearing a quick-release collar with a nametag  -Friendly with other dogs and people -Able to pass our temperament test

What is a temperament test and why is it required?

A temperament test is a 3-hour evaluation to make sure your dog is comfortable with our group of guests and staff. We will slowly introduce your pup to our group one at a time as to not overwhelm them.    A temperament test is required because we need to ensure they are comfortable and having fun. It ensures the safety of your dog, other dogs, as well as our staff members.

Do you have any breed restrictions?

We do not! As long as your pup can pass our temperament test, they are welcome with open arms.

Question 12

Do dogs ever get hurt?

Accepted Answer

Similar to children on a playground, it is possible for dogs to sustain minor injuries while playing in daycare. During normal dog play, a dog may get small scratches, nicks, or lose a bit of fur. More serious injuries are very rare. Our staff members are trained in dog behavior. If serious treament is needed, we will call you and rush your pup to your personal vet or the emergency vet if your vet is unavailable.

Will my older dog enjoy this environment?

All dogs are different, so this will depend on your dog. If they have been well socialized, they tend to do well. Our temperament test will help determine if we are a good fit for your pup. We also regularly evaluate our guests' behaviors, so if we notice your pup isn't enjoying their time here, we will let you know.

What should I expect when my dog comes home?

Your dog will be tired. Why? They are playing all day! If we notice your pup is becoming overly tired during they day, we will separate them for a short nap.   Your dog may also be thirsty. Water is available at all times during the day, but playing hard all day can make them more thirsty.   It's common for dogs' paw pads to be sore after playing, especially when they first start coming to daycare. Most dog's paws aren't used to playing all day, but they will build stronger pads the more they visit us!

Do I need to make a reservation?

Temperament test- Yes. After you have filled out a registration form, we can schedule your first visit.   Daycare- No. Once you have passed the temperament test, you do not need a reservation. You can stop by anytime!

What is your spay/neuter policy?

Accepted Answer

We require that all dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months old in order to receive daycare and boarding services.

Question 17

When my dog comes home from daycare, they drink a TON of water! Do you give them water?!"

Accepted Answer

We get asked this question a ton! Please know that clean water is available to our guests at all times. Some dogs don't drink as much due to the extra amount of mental stimulation they experience being in new surroundings. They can get overly excited and focus less on drinking. While this is common, please know that we monitor your pet's water intake and we will let you know if they are refusing to drink. If you dog drinks in excess when they get home, simply keep an eye on how much water they drink in short periods as drinking large amounts of water too quickly may cause vomiting.

What is a daycare pass and how do they work?

Our daycare passes are prepaid discounted daycare days that you can use anytime within 6 months of purchase. We offer 10-day or 20-day passes. These passes are a great way to save some money on your pet's daycare and allows you to skip the checkout process when picking up your pup!

Is there a schedule of activities?

On a daily basis, our guests are rotated through a variety of activities. They spend time outdoors, indoors, playing games with the staff, etc. In addition to our daily fun, follow us on Facebook/Instagram so you know when we have special activities such as themed photoshoots, holiday parties and more!

How many dogs are in the daycare group?

Our group sizes vary significantly from day to day. On slower days and If all guests are comfortable together, we have all sizes playing together. On busier days, we will divide guests based on size/temperament. We read the room and allow the dogs to tell us what kind of environment they need that day.

Question 21

How are corrections administered and what provisions are there for avoiding fights?

Wonderful question! While the majority of our corrections are done with verbal cues and body language, they are not always sufficient in gaining attention we need in a large room of playful pups. Because of this, our staff may utilize a spray bottle to get a quick response from a dog who may not hear or see us.    If a dog is continously disruptive, they may be leashed and taken from the group until they are able to safely re-enter. In the rare event that we have an alteration, staff will immediately separate and leash the dogs, removing them from the group to assess for injury.

My dog didn't pass the temperament test, but they are around other dogs all the time. What happened?"

Don't worry! There is nothing wrong with your dog!   Not every dog is cut out for daycare. There are so many factors that contribute to this. Your pup may only play well with others when you are present. They might be intimidated by the size of the pack, or they may just be having an off day. Much like children, dogs act very differently in front of their parents than they do when they are left to their own means. Unfortunately they can't always tell us how they feel or what they want. Some dogs just don't adapt well to the pack- this doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with your pet!   If you feel it was an off-day or a matter of needing more time to adapt, we may offer a second evaulation. Our staff will discuss your options to find the best fit for you and your pup.

Question 23

What are the check-in & check-out times for boarding?

You can drop off your pet anytime during normal business hours. We recommend dropping off your pet at least 1 hour before closing to ensure they have plenty of time to acclimate before bed time. We also recommend picking up as close to your drop off time as possible to avoid a daycare charge.

How are boarding fees calculated?

Boarding fees are charged per 24 hours. If you exceed your 24 hour limit, you will be charged a half-day or full-day of daycare based on normal hours.

Can I make a reservation online?

While we do encourage online boarding requests, your pup's stay is not confirmed until you get an email or phone call from our staff.

Do you ever reach maximum capacity?

Yes we do! It is always recommended that you make your boarding reservation as soon as possible. Please call for any last minute requests.

What is the daily schedule like for my dog?

Accepted Answer

Your pup will be up and playing with our daycare dogs all day, with the exception of a midday nap to avoid getting overly exhausted. We typically feed breakfast around 7:30 and dinner around 6:30. If you have a set feeding schedule you would like your dog to stick to, just let us know at drop-off!

Are cats kept separate from dogs?

Always! Our feline guests are in their own room located away from our canine guests.

Do you board puppies/kittens?

We sure do! When it comes to puppies, we do require that they have had their first 2 rounds of Parvo vaccinations. For kittens, we require that they have had their FVRCP vaccination.

Do you board pets with medical issues?

Accepted Answer

As long as they can still be in group play, we do! Please keep in mind that we are not a veterinarian, nor do we have one on staff. However, if your vet has given you instructions or medications that you would like us to administer, we are happy to do so. While we are able to care for numerous conditions, there are still occasions when we will be unable to assist in the care of your pet. These situations include any contagious disease or illness as well as pets who will need end of life care during their stay.

What should I bring while my pet is boarding there?

We allow our guests to bring in a couple of toys, food, treats, bedding, leash, collar and any medications or personal care items that they'll need. For those guests who do not come in with their own bedding, we provide beds/blankets. Please bring in enough food and medications for a few extra days, just in case things don't go as planned and you are unable to return by your scheduled date.    *During peak boarding times (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break), we ask that you prepackage your food.

Is someone at your facility 24 hours a day? What happens if there is an emergency?

Accepted Answer

Wonderful question. We do not have staff in the building over-night. We have cameras running at all times. In case of an emergency, we have on-call staff as well as fire alarms (connected to the fire department) and smoke detectors. The safety of your pet is our number one priority at all times.

My pet takes several medications. Will you give my pet these medications? Is there a charge?

We are happy to administer any medication your pet requires. One or two medications are included in normal boarding pricing. If your pet has 3 or more medications, their rate is $60/24 hours.

My dog doesn't get along with other dogs/new people. Can they still board?

Accepted Answer

We would not be able to board your pet. All guests must complete a temperament test prior to boarding to ensure they get along with our group and staff.

Do I need to book a grooming appointment in advance?

Yes. Our grooming services are very popular and fill up quickly. Call anytime to make an appointment.

How long will grooming take?

Accepted Answer

Grooming usually takes around 4 hours, depending on the condition and length of the coat as well as the desired cut and breed of your pet.

Can I drop off my pet before their appointment and pick them up later?

Accepted Answer

If they pass a temperament test, they can be placed in daycare for an additional charge before/after their groom.    If they cannot be in daycare, we ask that you drop them off 5-10 minutes before their appointment and pickup within an hour of their completion.

Can I request a specific groomer?

Yes! When booking your appointment, simply let our staff know which groomer you prefer and they will find an appointment that works for you.

Why aren't the grooming prices listed?

Accepted Answer

Each pet is different! Because of this, it's hard for us to give an exact price without first meeting them, examining their coat; learning about their temperament, allergies and medical conditions; and checking for skin conditions, matting, etc. While there are many factors that may affect the total price of your dog's groom, we are usually able to give an estimate within $10 of the final price. If there is excessive matting or work that goes over that $10 threshold, we will give you a call to discuss options so there are no surprises at pick-up.

My dog came out of grooming with a sore/wound! What happened?

Sometimes our dog's coats are hiding underlying issues. It is not uncommon that a pet is shaved to reveal hot spots, sores or irritated skin. These sores can be caused by a number of different factors and will be disclosed to you should anything be discovered during the grooming process. In addition, clipping a dog's nails may sometimes result in nicking a long quick. Our groomers keep the necessary tools on hand to treat these minor injuries but may recommend that you see a veterinarian if anything unusual is found.
